Ingredients
1 star snapper about 600g (washed, gutted and scaled), 3 slices of ginger (shredded), 2 spring onions (shredded), 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon Shaoxing wine, 1 teaspoon sugar
Instructions
- Wash and dry the fish, slightly cut the surface on both sides.
- Add shredded ginger to the fish’s belly and surface, and place it in a pan.
- Steam over high heat for about 8-10 minutes, until the fish is cooked through.
- Add spring onions to the fish, heat the oil, and drizzle with sesame oil.
- Combine the soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, and sugar, and drizzle over both sides of the fish, and serve.
