Ingredients

1 jack mackerel about 600g (washed), 2 tablespoons chili sauce, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 2 cloves garlic (minced), 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon cilantro (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the fish, slightly cut the surface on both sides.
  2. Combine chili sauce, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, and minced garlic to make a marinade. Spread evenly on the fish and marinate for about 20 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven or grill to 200°C, evenly coat the fish with oil, and grill for about 8-10 minutes per side until cooked through.
  4. Top with cilantro. Serve with rice or salad.
