Ingredients
1 yellow croaker about 200g (washed), 1 tablespoon corn starch, Hard tofu 200g (cut into pieces), 2 slices of ginger, 2 cloves of garlic (minced), 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine, 1 cup water, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1 spring onions (chopped)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the fish, and coat with corn starch.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry over medium-high heat for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Set aside.
- Cut the tofu into pieces and fry both sides until golden brown.
- Add the sliced ginger and minced garlic to a pan and fry until fragrant.
- Add soy sauce, sugar, Shaoxing wine, and water and bring to a boil.
- Add the fish and tofu, cover the lip and cook for about 8-10 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
- Garnish with spring onions and serve.
