Ingredients

Black bonito 500g (washed), 4 cups water, 3 slices of ginger, 4 dried shiitake mushrooms (soaked and sliced), 4 red dates, 1 tablespoon goji, 1 tablespoon rice wine, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 spring onion (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the fish. Pan-fry in a hot pan for about 2 minutes per side until lightly browned. Pour water and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Add sliced ginger, shiitake mushrooms, red dates and goji, and cook for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add the rice wine and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
  4. Season with salt, garnish with spring onions, and serve.
